What is thoughting.in?
A digital space where thoughts turn into stories. Not a feed, not a scroll: a place you come back to, one part at a time, the way serials used to run in the Sunday pages. Some stories here run twenty-five parts. Some are a single sitting. Some are only a sentence.
Why stories?
Because a thought on its own is a door, and a story is the room behind it. We write in parts so a story can be lived with: one with the morning coffee, one on the bus, one read aloud at bedtime. The site remembers where you stopped, on this device, with no account.
What kind of writing belongs here?
Four rooms and seven moods. Romance, love that takes its time. Kids, bedtime-sized and safe. Horror, dread over gore. Crime, the people who cannot leave a question alone. And Thoughts: short, abstract, emotional pieces about memory, dreams, loneliness and hope. Poetic prose is welcome. So is the unfinished.
For readers
Pick a mood or a room. Start at part one. Like what stays with you; that is how the front page learns what to show. Nothing is behind a login, nothing is between the paragraphs.
For writers
If you have a thought that has been asking for a shape, send it. We read everything that arrives through the Submit page, reply to everything we take, and publish it under your name.
