Ananya adjusted her glasses, her fingers flying across the keyboard as she pulled up spectral analysis software on her secondary monitor. "Let me see the frequency modulation," she said, her voice tight with concentration. She zoomed in on the waveform, highlighting three distinct spikes separated by identical intervals of silence. "Three," Suresh Reddy said from the doorway, wiping rainwater from his face with a ragged cloth. As the wind picked up and the rain began to fall in sheets, obscuring the view of the darkening sky, Ravi realized that the rule embedded in the signal went beyond simple observation.
