Every afternoon one chapter from a fat brown book. What was actually written inside it?
Five cousins spend the summer of 1994 at their grandparents' village, eating rasalu mangoes in the morning and lying on the verandah every afternoon while tatayya reads them the story of a king with a flying horse. Every day it stops at the worst place. So the eldest cousin decides they will open the book while tatayya is at the market and read ahead.
