The Loose Brick
A secret hole behind the cowshed, and a peppermint inside it that nobody put there.
Summer at tatayya's village house, and a nine year old finds a loose brick behind the cowshed with a dry hole behind it. It becomes his bank, his locker, his secret. Then things he never put there start appearing inside, and his note asking who is answered with one word in pencil.
