The Four Friends and the Hunter
A Panchatantra story: a crow, a mouse, a tortoise, a deer, and one very confused hunter.
A crow, a mouse and a tortoise take in a frightened young deer, and the four become friends. When the hunter's net catches one of them and his bag catches another, each friend has to use the one small gift that he has.
